We are reaching out to provide an important update regarding your account as part of the transition from HEXONET to Moniker. As we previously communicated in our email dated the 16th May 2025, we are now confirming that your account will be migrated on the 23rd June 2025.  

 

 

What This Means for You 

 

Automatic Migration: Your account and all your domains will be securely migrated on 23rd of June 2025, requiring no action on your part. We will send you a follow up email the day before the migration confirming the specific date. 

Domain Registrations Remain Unchanged: All domains will remain under the same registry accreditations, meaning no registry transfers will be required.

Your new Moniker Account: We will set up your Moniker account for you - you do not need to take any steps to create one. Your new account details will be provided after the migration has been completed.

The Moniker API will be available here and can be activated by self-service.

Your domains will be locked from 22:00 hrs UTC the previous day till 18:00 UTC on the day of your migration. This means that you will not be able to manage your domains during this time.

Moniker pricing will be available for all your future purchases and renewals. 

 

 

DNSSEC:  

 

 

 

Please ensure DNSSEC is disabled at HX on your domains before migration and re-enabled on Moniker afterward. This helps guarantee all domains are smoothly migrated and none remain on HX. If DNSSEC is not disabled by morning of Sunday, as part of this migration, we will:  

Temporarily disable DNSSEC at HEXONET 

Migrate the domains to Moniker 

Re-enable DNSSEC at Moniker  

Please note that this is a routine operation and no action is required from your side. All steps will be handled by our team, and we do not anticipate any service disruption. 

 

 

CN Domain Update 

 

We are currently experiencing unexpected delays from the registry in processing the bulk transfer of .CN accreditation to CNR. As a result, new .CN domain registrations, transfer and trade requests will be temporarily unavailable following the migration to the CNR platform. Renewals of the domains will not be affected.  

 

Please note that this does not affect the scheduled migration of .CN domains from HX to CNR, which will proceed as planned on the previously communicated date. 

 

We will provide an update and notify you as soon as we are ready to resume .CN domain registrations and transfers. The tentative timeline for resumption is mid-August. 

 

 

Legal Notice 

 

 

 

This email notice serves to inform you that the HEXONET platform will be sunset on 30th June 2025, and your domains and account will be migrated to Moniker. Additionally, in accordance with our Reseller Agreement, Section 2, Amendments, your existing reseller agreement will be modified to match the Terms and Conditions of Moniker.com effective when your account is created on the Moniker platform. 

Your continued use of our services after 23 June 2025 constitutes your acceptance of this agreement and the policies as last revised. If you object to this amendment, your sole remedy is to stop using the website and services and terminate this agreement in accordance with the termination provisions outlined in the Hexonet Terms and Conditions.
